Team Heroes

I used to play in a city squash league when I lived in Toronto. It was jokingly called Beer League because it was often difficult to tell if we showed for the squash or the pints every Thursday night. We were normally pretty vigilant about choosing our Designated Driver, but I’m sure some nights our DD’s may have snuck in a beer or two. Welp, one bad idea often leads to another. Suddenly, you had a couple and still needed to drive home.

We put up these posters in and around rec leagues centre change rooms where players were making the decisions and starting to drink, reminding Beer Leaguers to choose a DD before the post-game celebrations start—not after. I always liked the craft of these posters and the simplicity of the idea.
